Are you ready for fall and back to school? Honestly, I’m not. Usually by this time I feel like it’s time to get back to those routines, but this year I could use a little extension on summer.
This is Crows and Pumpkins by Annie Beez Folk Art. The model is stitched on 28 ct. Misty Blue Cashel linen with DMC floss. (Of course you could swap out the fabric, I’m sure any fall color or sky-like blue would look fantastic.) Stitch count is 69W x 157H.
Fall is my favorite season of the year, the colors, the smells, the harvest, I just love all of it. If I had one complaint about moving to Virginia from Pennsylvania (other than the crazy heavy pollen that we get here) it would be that we have less of a fall season here. I don’t get to watch the leaves change quite as slowly, sometimes it seems like one day they’re green and the next day they’re just gone. I wish I could live in a place where it’s the fall season all of the time, that would be wonderful, perfect weather and ongoing harvest time.
