Progressing Slowly Stitching The Raven

I’m not very far along on The Raven right now but enough that you can get a better idea of how it will layout across the hand-dyed fabric.

Progress on cross stitching The Raven

As I move across the fabric I’m getting the impression that it’s actually cut crooked. I hope that doesn’t interfere when it comes tie for framing and finishing. I should have plenty of extra space on all sides, but I’m feeling nervous now.

Happy Stitching!

About Loretta

I’ve been a cross stitcher since I was 8 years old. It was something I learned as a Girl Scout when we did a project for a badge related to crafts and the group choose to cross stitch a holiday design on a red sweatshirt using waste canvas. (Talk about hard first project, that was such a pain!) I was one of the first ones finished and I’ve had a needle in my hand almost every day since then.

IF you dont mind I am going to refer to your site and your download (that it is available) for stitching on evenweave. There is a FB group I am in with a number of stitchers doing a project on evenweave for the first time.

    I love the fabric!

  3. It is a really cool fabric, I think it’s going to compliment the design nicely when it’s done. That big white blotch is right where the raven will be.

  5. That would be awesome, Holly <3

Very nice! Can’t wait to see it when it is done. We have about 8″ of snow outside.. a good day to start a new x-stitch project, except I don’t know what it will be :)

  7. Snow days always make good stitching days :) We don’t get many of those days down here in Virginia, just rainy days.

  8. The Fabric is really nice.
