I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm Cross Stitch Sampler Chart of the Week

I love it when I find an enjoyable sampler that doesn’t have an alphabet on it. This one is called I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm and comes from Heartstring Samplery.

The quote on the sampler reads:

“The snow is snowing, the wind is blowing, just watch those icicles form. I’ve got my love to keep me warm”.

Model was stitched on 35 count Straw linen by Weeks Dye Works using Weeks Dye Works flosses in Kohl and Brick. Stitch count is 123W x 233H.

I’ve been a cross stitcher since I was 8 years old. It was something I learned as a Girl Scout when we did a project for a badge related to crafts and the group choose to cross stitch a holiday design on a red sweatshirt using waste canvas. (Talk about hard first project, that was such a pain!) I was one of the first ones finished and I’ve had a needle in my hand almost every day since then.

Oh this is pretty!!! I have a few started cross stitch projects but find them hard to do with the little kids running around. I love this as from afar it reminds me of my grandfathers old socks that I think my grandma made for him
