Cross Stitch
Not much stitching over the past week. Everyone seems to be getting some sort of flu bug -again- and that has me a bit distracted. I did get a little further on The Raven by La D Da…
It looks a little more accomplished now that the words are finished. There’s a band across where I started stitching now that makes me think of a fence, then there’s a few stars, the raven itself, and a border around the whole thing left to stitch.

About LorettaI’ve been a cross stitcher since I was 8 years old. It was something I learned as a Girl Scout when we did a project for a badge related to crafts and the group choose to cross stitch a holiday design on a red sweatshirt using waste canvas. (Talk about hard first project, that was such a pain!) I was one of the first ones finished and I’ve had a needle in my hand almost every day since then.

I’m really enjoying stitching it! I added a few other designs from La D Da to my wishlist after I started working on this more.
I lost my stitching bug a good while ago but am now thinking that this design will coax it back!!!

Ehat is the fabric? Is it hand dyed?
It is a hand dyed fabric from Silkweaver that I pulled from my stash. I’m not certain if they still have it in their color list, but it’s 28 count opalescent Jazlyn in Chocolate Vanilla Swirl.
