Lavender Roses HAED QS is Chart of the Week

LavenderRosesQS-cross-stitch-pattern-HAEDThis one is called Lavender Roses and is based on the artwork by Carrie Hawks and charted by Heaven and Earth Designs (aka, HAED in the stitching community)

This is a “quick stitch” design from HAED, which are a little less intimidating than full sized HAED charts. This chart measures in at 175W x 122H, which measures out to 5×7 inches if you’re stitching over one on 25 count fabric (as recommended when stitching Heaven and Earth Designs charts)

Ordering this chart from Everything Cross Stitch includes to option to include all the floss colors for you, which is a big time saver, and they offer the option to choose add your fabric as well.

I’ve been a cross stitcher since I was 8 years old. It was something I learned as a Girl Scout when we did a project for a badge related to crafts and the group choose to cross stitch a holiday design on a red sweatshirt using waste canvas. (Talk about hard first project, that was such a pain!) I was one of the first ones finished and I’ve had a needle in my hand almost every day since then.
