Word Trees! Day 6 of Christmas Cross Stitch

Welcome back to 25 Days of Stitchmas here at Stitching the Night Away where we’re counting down the days to Christmas with awesome cross stitch projects. I know I said that every day would include at least one ornament paired with a stocking or a tree skirt pattern, but today the M-Designs word trees are screaming at me so loudly that I decided to show off a few of those.

I’m actually stitching Peace Tree right now and I’m about half way done. These word trees can be stitched over one for an ornament size or over two for framing or you could turn them into stockings with a bit of sewing magic if you wanted.

Now, there are MANY of these and I certainly couldn’t stitch them all, plus M Designs allows you to special order custom name trees if you want to do your last name or everyone in your family’s first names even, so the possibilities with these projects is truly endless. Here are just a few of my favorites. Believe, Love, and Rejoice.

Happy Stitchmas!

  1. I stitched Peace tree when it was JustCrossStitch Ornament issue a few years ago and loved it. The new word trees are great too!

  2. I ordered my son and daughter’s names as word trees and stitched them as ornament size for our tree. They came out great and the kids love that their names are part of the decorations.
