Welcome back to 25 Days of Stitchmas here at Stitching the Night Away where we’re counting down the days to Christmas with awesome cross stitch projects. Every day from now to Christmas we’ll take a look at two holiday stitching projects per day.
That’s right, I said dragons on Christmas. And why not? Dragons need love too.
The Mine All Mine stocking from X’s & Oh’s shows a dragon hoarding her holiday treasures.
The model was stitched on 28 Ct. Rosemary linen with DMC floss. Finished project stitch count is 152W x 225H.
And now I’m going to cheat a little bit because this next piece isn’t an ornament, a stocking, or a tree skirt, but it is one of my favorite holiday dragons.
It’s not just any dragon, it’s Santa’s Dragon by Dragon Dreams. I certainly like the idea of Santa having his own dragon to help him get through the obstacles of the night!
Model stitched on 28 Ct. Nordic Blue Linen using DMC floss, Kreinik #4 Braid (015, 091, 032-2, 850-2), Caron Waterlilies Silk #228, and Rainbow Gallery FZ15 White Fuzzy Stuff.
Project stitch count is 190W x 240H.
