Almost There on My Token of Love

[update 1/24/2017] Finished a motif and a skein of floss at the same time, seemed like a good place to take a pause and put her away for a bit.

[update 1/23/2017] Filled out a few motifs over the weekend, about half a page of pattern left to stitch before she’s done.

[update 1/20/2017] Picked this one back up and made it my focus piece for the past few days. I think I’ll keep her out a few more days and keep plugging away at the last few motifs. I still need to decide what customization to add to the wreath area….

Pattern is My Token of Love by Rosewood Manor. Fabric is a 28 count evenweave Silkweaver Expressions piece from ages ago, the color is no longer available from what I can tell.

Thread is DMC variegated thread (#115 garnet)

I still haven’t decided what to put in the circle that you can customize in the upper wreath section. I wanted to do something different than the usual anniversary date, but nothing is really springing to mind. I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas, please drop me a comment below.

Happy stitching!

  1. Loretta, you are so talented. This current piece is amazing!

  2. I like the variegated coloring. I suppose you could just put your name and the date, like they did on colonial samplers.
