Fall is my favorite time of year and it’s also when my two favorite holidays happen ~ Halloween and Thanksgiving. Of course, this is a good notion all year round.

I saw images of Starburst Flag of Great Britain from Cherry Lane Designs floating around Facebook early this morning and I fell in love with it right away.
“Old Witch Mary” was just released by Lila’s Studio in July and it’s already flying off shelves with enthusiasm (as is the equally awesome Witches Brew pattern ~ the two together make a lovely pair to display!)
Old Witch Mary, quite contrary, How does your garden grow? With moss and slime, and poisonous vine, and toadstools all in a row.
Not everything for Halloween has to be spooky or stitched in 90% black floss. Walking Jack by CM Designs is fun, cute, and definitely still has the spirit of Halloween at heart.
It’s a quick stitch at only 104w x 90h stitch count and less than 10 floss colors required, so can reasonably have him all stitched up and ready for Halloween this year no problem.
