This has long been one of our most popular free cross stitch patterns here at Stitching the Night Away. It’s the perfect size for stitching up charity quilt squares and it’s super easy to customize. You can change the colors to your liking, use variegated floss, add words to the white space, whatever you’d like to create the perfect piece for your needs.

I See Dead Pixels Geek Cross Stitch

That’s right, I said it in in cross stitch. I see dead pixels. Thankfully I replaced my monitor awhile ago and I don’t actually see dead pixels anymore! LOL

Garnet Knotwork Free Cross Stitch Pattern

This is a brand new free cross stitch pattern I just finished up this week. I used three shades of garnet from DMC, but you can use any three colors you’d like, or all one color if you prefer – variegated over dyed threads are great for stitching knotwork.

Valentine Ornament Free Cross Stitch Pattern

valentine ornament free cross stitch patternI’ve been working on getting some more of our old free patterns converted and here is another oldie, but goody from way back when, The Valentine Ornament. Originally designed to be stitched on a light pink fabric with light colors (but, of course you can use always any colors and beads you have in your existing stash!)

Valentine Free Cross Stitch Pattern

This is a brand new pattern from us just in time to stitch for Valentine’s Day, just charted it out this afternoon.

You can use any color you like, stitch all in one color or grab an over-dyed floss and use that. I think either will come out fantastic. (I particularly would love to see this stitched in all black on a pink fabric! I might just do that when I’m ready to stitch it for myself.)

Dreamer Dream Pillow Sachet or Sampler Free Cross Stitch Pattern

This was one of our very first free cross stitch patterns released way back and also featured at Cyber Stitchers and a few other places around the web, now available here as a PDF file for easier download and printing.

Stitch count is 52 x 70 stitches. Depending on what you’re comfortable you can stitch eyelets or modified smyrna stars in this pattern, either one will look lovely. Of course, as always the colors are my suggestions and you can stitch using any colorway that you prefer.
