Laurel’s Cross Stitch Snowflake

snowflake-cross-stitch

Stitched by Laurel

Laurel is a stitching machine lately! She sent in this finish of the fluffy snowflake pattern (This is pattern #2 in the 2012 Ornament Club here)

I love this fabric ~ just gorgeous! Laurel stitched her snowflake on 16 count Twilight by Picture This Plus using DMC Pearlesent Effects E5200.

Laurel also recently stitched the first pattern from the club, you can see that finish here. And she was also recently featured in the community section here.

Get to know Laurel a little better over at her blog “Cherished Creations” – everyone counts, where she frequently shows off her WIPs and finished stitching. [Read more...]

Lindsay’s Valentine Heart Cross Stitch

LindsayValentineCrossStitch

Stitched by Lindsay

This is my kind of valentine! Lindsay stitched her Valentine heart in all black. I love how it just pops off the fabric!

I’m so not a girly foo-foo pink frilly kind of girl.

Not to say I don’t like girly things, I like hearts and flowers as much as the next gal, but not boring blah pink same old crap flowers.

I want big blooming magnolias, black roses, or flowing lilies, or simple daisies and purple tulips. [Read more...]

Brushstroke Butterfly Plus a Lovely Quote

The free Brushstroke Butterfly pattern has been stitched in many ways for charities and gifts over the past few years, but I really like the addition of a quote as Nancy has used it here in her gift for a friend…

Holiday Berries Stitched by Laurel

Ornament Cross Stitch by Laurel

Stitched by Laurel

This Ornament Club finish came in from Laurel. She stitched her ornament on 16ct Jade by Picture This Plus fabric.

– As a side note, someone please remind me to order some Picture This Plus fabbies for my stash cabinet. I’ve noticed a few folks using them in the STNA Facebook community and in the Ornament Club and the fabrics are really lovely.

Stitched by Cynthia

This is one of my favorite free patterns here on the site. Okay – maybe they’re all my favorite, but this was one of the first free patterns I offered way back when.

Cynthia used 28ct Mercedes Cashel Linen and DMC threads in 550 an 3837 to stitch up her Goddess.

==> This pattern is available for free by clicking here.

If you stitch this or any of the other patterns available from Stitching the Night Away I would love to add your photos to the gallery too! You can email them to me or post them in our Facebook community.

Happy Stitching!

Photos are rolling in from this year’s Ornament Club participants.

I can’t tell you how ridiculously happy this makes me!! I’m over the moon with enthusiasm for stitching and for the community around this website. You folks rock!

This is Pam R’s first stitched ornament in the group. She used a darker DMC on the green parts to get a better contrast with the fabric that she chose and I think it looks awesome :)
