Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town

… and fortunately Santa Claus can shop on the internet, because I haven’t left the house this week. ‘Tis the season for cold and flu apparently, and ugh did I get something icky this week. I suppose a few bugs are to be expected with four kids in four different schools, but that’s a rant for another day! On to the Stitchmas! Thank you guys for your patience during Stitchmas and between my medicated blogging sessions this week.

Calories Don’t Count at Christmas!

Don’t you wish that was the truth?! All the delicious goodies that we encounter during this season, it’s crazy scary if you’re trying to follow any type of diet.

This year my challenge is that I’m gluten-free and my husband is sugar-freebut the kids can have just about whatever they want. Eek! There are going to be treats everywhere.

Four Christmas Cross Stitch Books

I’m sure by now you have the music of the 12 Days of Christmas playing in your head… “four Christmas cross stitch books,” three french hens, two calling birds and a partridge in a pear tree.

Today I hopped onto Amazon.com (it’s an addiction, I think I need a 12 step program,) and on a whim I decided to see how many Christmas cross stitch books there were available. I knew there were a few, as there are at least three on my bookshelf behind me here, but I wondered what else was available. I was surprised to find that there are actually a lot of Christmas cross stitch books out there.
