I love all the Ink Circles mandala designs, but I chose this as today’s pick of the day because I very much like how it’s wintery and fun but still holiday appropriate.
Model is stitched n 28 Ct. Crystal Herald Belfast linen by Picture this Plus using Snow White DMC (#B5200).
Stitch count 115×115.
Laurel stitched up the February Ornament with some pretty variegated threads. There were two versions of this chart available (same pattern with the holiday lights in different positions)

I’m generally lacking in holiday spirit myself and my husband and my kids are the crazy holiday cheermiesters that start singing carols and picking out wrapping paper as soon as Thanksgiving is over. This year everyone seems to be a little down everywhere I look. I don’t know what’s contributing to that this year, whether it’s politics or the economy, I just want to go out on a mission to cheer everyone up.
But wait! There are no stockings here, instead today we have stocking themed holiday stitching without the worry of having to sew and assemble a stocking later on.

A few people have mentioned that they’re looking for reindeer themed projects this year and having difficulty finding them… so I went hunting myself and I concur, there are not enough reindeer patterns out there to be stitched. I found a handful of patterns, but not nearly as many as I hoped when I set out on my reindeer seeking mission this morning.

Who doesn’t want to have a pretty table for the holidays? What better place to show off your stitching than when everyone is focused on the dinner table 🙂
Although … if you do use these type of tablecloths for the holiday feast, I would recommend a clear tablecloth cover just in case. You wouldn’t want red wine stains on those white linens.
