Welcome back to the Stitching Bloggers blog hop! I’m running a day late with this one, because for some reason I thought Friday was the 14th and Saturday was the 15th. The calendar inside my mind is a messy, messy place sometimes. I think my internal clock is still out of whack from Daylight Savings Time last weekend.
Anyway, I’ve closed the widget on Blog Hop #16, but you can still visit the blogs and pick up the blog prompt if you didn’t have a chance to participate yet. You’re always welcome to use the blogging prompts at any time with or without the widget.
You’re probably wondering why I’m talking about shoes in this blog hop. I’ve bought six pairs of shoes in the past week and none of them were for me (darnit!) New sneakers for school (x2), new soccer cleats (x2), an extra pair of shoes for my husband to wear to work, and a specially requested pair of basketball shoes for my oldest son as a birthday gift.
All the specialized shoes floating around my house got me to thinking about how you need the right shoe for the task at hand. Seriously three different kinds of cleats … golf, football, soccer. So I was wondering what the right shoe is for stitching time…
The blogging prompt for hop #17 is:
What’s your favorite footwear for stitching? Or perhaps I should say your favorite lack of footwear when stitching…
How to Participate:
To participate simply write a blog post on your own blog about the above topic and then at the end include this piece of code to display the link widget.
Including this widget on each participant’s response makes it easy for readers to “hop” from blog to blog to read about the topic, leave comments, and meet new bloggers.
After you’ve blogged your response just enter the link to your blog post here:
**note** Enter the direct link to your response, not the link to your blog’s homepage. That way blog hoppers will go straight to your response in this edition of the blog hop.
Use Our Banner (Optional):
Including the banner on your post is optional, but appreciated as it helps identify the post as a blog hop posting and links to the category here on the site so others can click through and participate as well. You can just copy and paste this code to display the banner like I have at the top of this post:
Or if you prefer you can just link to the blog hop post from your response post. Either way, a link is always appreciated 🙂
Happy Stitching! 🙂
