Aquarius (♒) Friendly, outgoing and intellectual, Aquarius is always brimming with great ideas and fun conversation. Plus, they’re ever-willing to lend an ear or a helping hand. Aquarius is symbolized by the Water-Bearer, though it’s actually an Air sign.
Each block in the series is 45 x 45 stitches so they can be used together or individually and be interchangeable. On their own they’re the perfect size for an ornament, a card, or a scented sachet. You can group several symbols together for a family sampler or stitch all 12 for an annual sampler. So many stitchy possibilities to explore and have fun with.
You can customize and stitch however you’d like, each Zodiac symbol’s PDF file will include 5 individual chart; the four you see in the preview pane above plus one with just the backstitching outline. I intentionally removed the floss key from the patterns so that everyone’s piece will be unique. You can stitch it in one, two, or three colors, use variegated threads or metallics, etc. You can use any colors you’d like, but if you’re curious about what I used while charting and test stitching, the colors were DMC 995 and 890.
Ruled by the unpredictable planet Uranus, Aquarius is the most eccentric zodiac sign — there’s never a dull moment with an Aquarius around. Intellectual, friendly and future-minded, Aquarians are not very emotional — but they still are the humanitarians of the zodiac. The Water-Bearer represents community and mankind, and Aquarius is more concerned with the good of all than the good of one.
I’ll be releasing these Zodiac cross stitch patterns throughout the summer via Craftsy, and by the time my kids start school in the fall they’ll all be out there in the world for stitching. If you want to be notified when new patterns are added, please subscribe to the weekly Stitching the Night Away newsletter here 🙂
Thank you for your amazing support.
Enjoy the pattern and happy stitching!
