My Favorite Holiday Ornaments

I’ll get our blog hop kicked off with the first post. First, I’ll confess that I don’t do a lot of holiday decorating. My favorite part of decorating is putting up the tree, and the kids do 99% of the work on that. My job on decorating day is to make hot chocolate and make sure nothing gets broken.

Here are some of my favorite holiday ornaments hanging on our tree this year….

I just love this little guy 🙂 he’s my favorite stitched ornament.

Random Handmade Ornament (gift for holiday carolers)

I’ve had this ornament for 12 years now. It’s made from the end of a juice concentrate can and some ribbon, it was given out by carolers who visited us that year singing and sipping hot chocolate. My kids were little and they really enjoyed the whole thing, it was a good memory.

Marvin the Martian and Santa

This is a two for one picture. Marvin is just fun and awesome, I love that he hangs on my tree. Santa is extra special though. He was actually the tree topper on our very first Christmas tree, a little two foot desk decoration that I hung some ornaments and popcorn strings on way back when in our one bedroom apartment.
