Stitchnmomma Hand Dyed Cross Stitch Fabrics

On Valentine’s Day after everyone had been sick and a week of not really stitching on anything I decided that a little stash acquisition was in order. Just as I the thought Stitchnmomma posted a reminder that there was only one day left on her 25% off fabric sale on Etsy and I remembered that I really wanted a piece of orange fabric she had listed the week before. So I hopped over to her Etsy shop… and put it in my cart!

It was super fast delivery and it arrived today. I have to say, it’s even more lovely in person. Pictures just don’t do it justice. It’s bright, beautiful, soft, and fantastic – just waiting for me to stitch something awesome on it.

Now, the real dilemma. What do I stitch on it? I’m thinking it would be lovely for a Halloween sampler or a fun blackwork design. What do you think?

Happy Stitching!

About Loretta Oliver

I’ve been a cross stitcher since I was 8 years old. It was something I learned as a Girl Scout when we did a project for a badge related to crafts and the group choose to cross stitch a holiday design on a red sweatshirt using waste canvas. (Talk about hard first project, that was such a pain!) I was one of the first ones finished and I’ve had a needle in my hand almost every day since then.

  1. Awww, thanks Loretta! I’m so thrilled you’re happy with your purchase!

I have a piece of fabric in a very similar color that I kept for myself. I’m going to be doing a piece that combines both of your ideas…it’s a Halloween Blackwork piece.

Can’t wait to see what you’re going to stitch on your piece of fabric! :)

  2. I got mine today, too!! Awesome color.
