Erik does some lovely and creative quaker style designs and this is shaping up to be true to it’s name, beautiful. freedom sal tempting tanglesFreedom SAL at Tempting Tangles. This one actually started at the end of 2016, but is happening mostly in 2017 with chart releases for the 16 parts happening every two weeks through June, so there’s plenty of time to join in and participate in the stitch-a-long. fabulous women of history salFabulous Women in History SAL at Cloudsfactory. This is a big one, featuring 24 fabulous women who have changed the world throughout history. The overall project stitch count is 316 x 191. The pattern only option is $19.99 and there are kit options available for purchase as well. ongoing ornament stitch a longThe 2017 Christmas Ornie SAL. This is one of those ongoing forever things, and I’m glad to see it still going strong after several years. This is a stitch-a-long for folks who want to stitch holiday ornaments throughout the year. There’s a theme each month and you can stitch any ornament, share your progress with the group and encourage others on their ornament stitching projects. You can even sign up to post your ornaments on the blog. You’ll find all of the information on themes and signing up at http://christmasorniesal2015.blogspot.com/

monogramsalMonogram Sampler Quaker Fantasies by AuryTM. This is being released as one part per month the first week of every month. The size is 205 x 261 overall. The fee for this one is $10.
This seems to be taking place mostly on Facebook, with a separate Facebook group created just for the stitch-a-long. You’ll find the ordering details in this Facebook post [here]

This isn’t by any means an exhaustive list of all the stitch-a-longs and groups that are out there in the cross stitching world, but it’s a good starting point if you’re looking for an SAL to participate in.     Frosted Pumpkin also has a couple SAL’s.
    And Stitching Lotus does a Smalls SAL (where it doesn’t matter which small piece you chose to do, as long as you’ve done something).
