Stitching Bloggers #14: Looking Back on 2012

Stitching Bloggers Blog Hop

Welcome to the first blog hop of 2013! Blog Hop #13 has been closed, but if you missed the Stitchmas Wist posts you can always go back and refer to the hop post to visit everyone who participated in that round.

For our first blog hop of the new year let’s talk about stitching accomplishments and stash acquisitions last year….

The blogging prompt for hop #14 is:

What was your biggest stitching accomplishment in 2012?
What was your favorite stash acquisition in 2012 and will you be using it in 2013?

How to Participate:

To participate simply write a blog post on your own blog about the above topic and then at the end include this piece of code to display the link widget.

Including this widget on each participant’s response makes it easy for readers to “hop” from blog to blog to read about the topic, leave comments, and meet new bloggers.

After you’ve blogged your response just enter the link to your blog post here:

**note** Enter the direct link to your response, not the link to your blog’s homepage. That way blog hoppers will go straight to your response in this edition of the blog hop.

Use Our Banner (Optional):

Including the banner on your post is optional, but appreciated as it helps identify the post as a blog hop posting and links to the category here on the site so others can click through and participate as well. You can just copy and paste this code to display the banner like I have at the top of this post:

Or if you prefer you can just link to the blog hop post from your response post. Either way, a link is always appreciated :)

Stitching Bloggers Blog Hop at STNA will be twice a month, on the 1st and 15th of each month. Be sure you’re on our newsletter list and you’ll get a reminder for each posting.

Happy New Year!!! :)
Loretta

About Loretta Oliver

I’ve been a cross stitcher since I was 8 years old. It was something I learned as a Girl Scout when we did a project for a badge related to crafts and the group choose to cross stitch a holiday design on a red sweatshirt using waste canvas. (Talk about hard first project, that was such a pain!) I was one of the first ones finished and I’ve had a needle in my hand almost every day since then.

  1. I have a question. I keep trying to put the link widget on my blog, but it just shows up like it is here. It doesn’t change to what it should be. How do I fix it?

    • Hey Kim,

I just took a peek over at your post for blog hop #6 and I see what you mean. It’s been awhile since I looked at the interface for Blogspot, but you should have the option to edit HTML or edit in Visual Mode… you’ll want to enter the widget code in HTML mode instead of the visual editor. I hope that makes sense.

  2. I’m not sure who it is, but the first blog listed for Blog Hop #14 does not allow access to everyone. I can’t see the blog since I don’t have permissions to view, so I’m bummer to be missing out.

  3. Link #7 doesn’t seem to be working

  4. For some reason, I can’t figure out how to add the blog hop blog listing portion to my post for easy reference. Any tips?
