January Snowflake Finished by Tommye

Tommye-J-Bunce-January-Ornament-Finished-Cross-StitchTommye-J-Bunce-January-Ornament-Finished-Cross-Stitch

stitched by Tommye J Bunce

We just started with our first pattern of the year on the 7th and Tommye finished last night! Stitched using Treasure Braid from Rainbow Gallery (PB10) on Phantom hand-dyed 36 count linen from Picture This Plus.

I was so surprised to see the photo posted to our Facebook group when I got home from Dylan’s basketball game last night. That was some lightning fast stitching and the results are stunning.

If you didn’t make the deadline to register for our Ornament Pattern Club you can still pick up the pattern for the January snowflake as an individual chart here.

Seeing all the pictures posted of finished ornaments is one of my favorite things about the ornament club we’re doing here at Stitching the Night Away, especially when I send out a chart with no floss key 😉 I love seeing the creativity and the color choices, how tiny little changes can give each person’s project it’s own personality and flair.

You might recognize Tommye from Facebook or from Etsy as TJB Designs, the shop where I acquired my shiny counting pins that are sometimes seen in my stitching photos.

Now I need to go catch up on stitching… I’m only half-way done with my own snowflake over here!

Tommye, thank you for sharing your finished snowflake with us. I’m sure about half of us are off to buy a piece of that stunning fabric.

Happy Stitching everybody 🙂

I was just posting on my blog (http://stitchingandbeading.blogspot.com) and wanted to link to STNA. So I jumped over here for the link and whoa!, there’s my snowflake. It was a fun stitch, Loretta, and I’m looking forward to the rest!
