I think I’m in love with this cross stitch project from Keslyn’s!
Stitcher’s Note: It is two part and you’ll need to stitch on evenweave or linen, this is not an aida fabric project. The words at the top of
My Hand For You are stitched over one for detail purposes, and the hand at the bottom of the project is stitched over two. You then have a picture and matting inserted on the left side bottom when you have your framing done.
32 count evenweave or linen fabric is recommended for this piece, and of course a good trusting relationship with your local frame shop!
Happy Stitching!
Kind Regards,
The wording at the top of the design reads:
“You’ve washed my face and combed my hair and tucked me in at night. You’ve dried my tears and mended my pants and held my hand real tight so here is one that you can keep and lock within your heart.”
P.S. Don’t forget to order some 32 count evenweave when you pick up your charts! If you’re just getting started using evenweave fabrics to stitch on, I strongly recommend trying out Joblean cross stitch fabric, it’s very smooth and easy to stitch on. Lugana cross stitch fabric is another popular choice for getting started with evenweaves as well.
