Happy Dancing! Finished Fairy Tale Sampler (Dragon Dreams)

Gosh! It’s been so long since I finished something like this that I almost forgot how exciting it was! I’m happy dancing my feet off over here. This is Fairy Tale Sampler by Dragon Dreams, stitched on Silkweaver Reflections ~ Precious Metals 28 count fabric.

I put the last beads on last night while we were watching the finale episode of Worst Cooks in America on Food Network. Yup, we’re Food Network junkies. I think I get the majority of my stitching done watching food shows in the evening with the hubby these days.

Progression to finish….

After I finished this up, I pulled out my blue fabric and started up Blackwork Unicorn, also by Dragon Dreams.

    Loretta – that is so amazing and awesome and pretty! I just love it! How many hours does a project that size take you to do?

      You know, I used to be able to do a sampler sized project in a week, but these days I’m some kind of slow stitching turtle and it takes me awhile. I had the top section done when I pulled it out of the work in progress pile and it took me about a month to get it all finished up after that.

    What a great job! I love your fabric choice for this piece! I have seen this stitched up in many colours on lots of different fabric as stitchers make my design their own and every time it takes my breath away. It remains one of my favourite designs to this day. Enjoy your well-earned Happy Dance! Up here, I am dancing to keep warm with today’s -28 degree wind chill…
