Let’s get into the stitching questions and have some fun getting to know Lisa, her projects, and her crafty stash…
What’s your favorite type of cross stitch project to work on?
I like like working on all types of designs.
Do you have a favorite designer?
I don’t just have one. I like Joan Elliot, Jane Greenoff , Nia cross stitch.
How big is your stitching stash?
I couldn’t give a total size but it is rather large it fills an old airing cupboard , and some storage boxes .
How long have you been stitching? How did you learn?
I have been stitching since I was 7 years old . My mum taught me as I was in and out of hospital as a child due to my disability.
Do you watch television or listen to music (or podcasts) when you stitch; what’s your favorite way to fill the sound void?
I listen to the tv while I stitch.
Slightly related, but non-stitchy question: What are you currently reading and/or binge watching?
I like to watch Holby City, Casualty, and A Place to Call Home

Jasper
A nice hot cup of tea and my pet cat Jasper.
Do you have any “in real life friends” to share your stitching with in person, or maybe a local get together with a local stitch group? Tell us about so we can be jealous!
I have a friend who I speak to regularly on face time while we both stitch.
What stitched project finish are you most proud of?
I have stitched a couple later . One was of a couple who got married last year and another one of a brother and sister (as a remembrance gift).
The couple sampler took me 18 months to stitch.
The brother/sister sampler took me 6 weeks to stitch.
