I had mentioned previously that one of my favorite things in ornament club is to send out a pattern with no floss key or legend and see what sorts of creativity come back in the finished pieces. It’s fascinating how a few little changes can make a design look completely different.
This is Jen’s snowflake stitched using Renaissance hand-dyed lamb’s wool on 18 count Aida. (Though in her blog post she says she’ll never use lamb’s wool to cross stitch with again)
If you didn’t make the deadline to register for our Ornament Pattern Club you can still pick up the pattern for the January snowflake as an individual chart here.
Also take a moment today to visit Jen’s blog and Etsy shop to say hello 🙂 She has some really lovely stitching and some fun patterns to check out.
Happy Stitching everyone!
