I just received a photo of the finished quilt that the WOCS group did using the Knotted Hearts free cross stitch pattern here at Stitching the Night Away… it’s beautiful!
Each member was given a choice of what color or color combinations they wanted to stitch and they sent in matching fabric if they chose. WOCS quilter, Bonnie Coleman, put this lovely quilt together using her amazing quilting talents. This quilt, along with several other quilts, pillows, tote bags and many other items were donated today to the Century Care Center, in Century, FL as gifts to the seniors who reside there.
You can learn more about the projects being done by World of Charity Cross Stitching group on their blog.
They also have a Yahoo group if you’re interested in joining in on the stitching projects.
