Stitching Bloggers Blog Hop: Thrift Store Treasures

For this month’s blog hop we’re discussing thrift store finds, treasures, and oddities. No matter what you walk into a thrift store looking for, chances are you’ll find something crafty, creative, and repurposable. You might find supplies from a crafter’s stash, long forgotten in a dusty attic and donated by their children or grandchildren who didn’t know what to do with them. Maybe you’ll find a finished piece, something lovely crafted that no longer has a home.

The theme / prompt for this blog hop:

So our theme is thrift store treasures and stories. Write your blog post telling us about favorite thrift store find, the best deal you got, or the best day you had thrifting. Share your story. (It doesn’t even have to be cross stitch related if you have another story to tell. Maybe you scored an amazing purse or the perfect pair of jeans for $1, maybe you furnished a whole guest room for less than $50,….)

Enter the link to your blog post here:

Stitching Bloggers June Blog Hop – Thrift Store Treasures & Stories

Don’t forget to visit the other participants in the blog hop. Leave a comment, give them a like on Facebook, and generally share the love.

How to Participate in the Hop:

Link directly to your favorite post in the link widget above. **note** Enter the direct link to your blog post that you want to participate with, not the link to your blog’s homepage. ** That way blog hoppers will go straight to your response in this edition of the blog hop.

To make hopping easier for visitors include the widget at the end of your own blog post. (copy and paste this code)

Including this widget on each participant’s response makes it easy for readers to “hop” from blog to blog to read about the topic, leave comments, and meet new bloggers.

Use Our Banner (Optional):

Including the banner on your post is optional, but appreciated as it helps identify the post as a blog hop posting and links to the category here on the site so others can click through and participate as well. You can save a copy of the image above and add it to your own blog post if you’d like. Alternatively, you can copy and paste this code to display the image I have at the top of this post:

See you around the hop 😉

Happy Stitching & Blog Hopping!
Loretta
