At the end of the year I like to look over what I finished, what I started, what I wanted to do versus what I actually did. This year I had some slumps, I had some finishes, and I made some progress. Not as much as I would have liked, but then again I’d always prefer more stitching time over less. Last year I only had two small finishes, so this year is a bit of an improvement in that regard.
Finishes…
and two ornaments that I still need to get pictures of…
Progress Made….
I love this sampler, but I’ve been really slow at making progress. The days I do work on it, I could sit for hours and hours, unfortunately there always seems to be some other thing to do that pulls me away from it.
Pirate Treasure is feeling neglected, so I think I’ll stitch on it a bit to kick off the New Year, it’s a fun project to work on (especially while watching The Curse of Oak Island on History channel!)
I have a few projects kitted up and ready to go that I haven’t started stitching yet;
If Nothing Ever Changed (Designs by Lisa)
Gaelic Banner (Dracolair)
Winter Sun (a kit)
and oodles of ornaments and small designs
What did you finish in 2014? If you have an annual wrap up post or photo gallery, please leave a link in the comments below so I can check it out 😉
Love the two finishes and I’m a huge fan of Rosewood Manor designs. I just wish I had more time to stitch too. Seems like life is always getting in the way of stitching. Hope you and your family have a blessed 2015
Progress is always good!!!
